How does Haunt work?
Search for an Instagram username to see the profile’s public information, who it recently followed and playful insights such as the Flirt Score. Add up to five profiles to keep an eye on their activity.
Do I need to sign in with Instagram?
No. Haunt never asks you to log in to Instagram, never asks for your password and never accesses your account. It only looks up information that is publicly available.
Why does a profile show little or no information?
Haunt can only show publicly available information. Private accounts and accounts with limited visibility may show partial or no data. If a public profile keeps failing to load, please try again later — the data source can be temporarily unavailable.
How do alerts work?
With Haunt Plus, our servers check the profiles you track in the background and send you a notification when they follow someone new. Make sure notifications are allowed in Settings → Notifications → Haunt on your iPhone.
How is the Flirt Score calculated?
The Flirt Score and the “girls / guys” breakdown are calculated on your device by simple formulas that use public profile statistics and first names. They are estimates for fun — they can be wrong and say nothing definitive about anyone.
I bought Haunt Plus but it isn’t active. What should I do?
Open Haunt, go to Settings → Restore purchases, and make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Haunt and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To delete the small record kept on our servers for alerts, email support@mobapptech.com and we will remove it.
Is Haunt affiliated with Instagram?
No. Haunt is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
